Sex And The City - The Carrie Diaries - Casting Questions

So it really sounds like everyone wants to see The Carrie Diaries become the Sex and the City prequel. But the big question is, who will play Carrie Bradshaw.

Early reports had a lot of people throwing around Miley Cyrus' name to play the lead role. But her age has become a concern as the Carrie character will be in high school in the movie and Miley will be a little older than that by the time the movie would start production.

So, now the search looks like it will be on to find another young starlet to play the famous sex writer as a teen.

It's a safe bet that there will be a Disney actress looking to make a new name for herself as an adult a la Miley when the time comes.

But for now it looks like nobody is ahead of the pack, and Miley could still be very much in the mix.

Sex And The City 3 - It's Going To Happen!

Here’s the latest rumor… Sex and the City will be back for a 3rd movie.

Rejoice women, men and children, it really looks like it’s going to happen.

However, it won’t be coming back as you’re used to it. It looks like it’s going to be a prequel (of course) made based on the Carrie Diaries (Candace Bushnell) and show some teenaged versions of the quartet.

E! Online says that Miley Cyrus has volunteered to play young Carrie Bradshaw, but who knows how that will turn out. Maybe they’ll turn to someone a little more virginal.
